FD Spiced Dahl

- Fry 60g chopped onion in
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- with a clove of crushed garlic and 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger.
Cook for 5 minutes
- Add half pint water, 50g dried, washed red lentils,
- a pinch of Cumin
- Coriander
- Turmeric
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper.
Boil for 20 minutes or until lentils are tender.
Serve with 2 poppadoms and 2 tablespoons of fat-free natural yogurt.
